Attention, Pune residents! Get ready for the much-anticipated Ganesh immersion procession happening on September 17, 2024. Starting at 9:00 am, this annual event is sure to draw large crowds, so it’s essential to be prepared.

To ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize disruptions, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Transport Branch Pune City, Amol Zende, has issued important directives. No parking zones will be strictly enforced, with vehicles prohibited from parking in PMPML premises on September 17 and 18. Additionally, no parking will be allowed on both sides of Congress House Road from Jhansi Rani Chowk to Tophakhana.

For PMPML buses, alternative routes have been designated to ensure uninterrupted movement during the procession. Buses will start their journey at Barve Chowk and pass through various checkpoints before reaching the final destination at the underpass at Barve Shimla Office Chowk.

Residents are encouraged to cooperate with traffic police directives and follow the designated routes to ease traffic congestion. The Ganesh immersion procession will kick off at 9:00 am on September 17, 2024, so be prepared for increased traffic throughout the day.

By following these guidelines, Pune aims to provide a smooth and enjoyable Ganesh Visarjan experience for all participants and spectators. Let’s make this year’s procession a memorable one!
