Ritika Milankumar Pardeshi, a 24-year-old resident of Dhayari in Pune, has achieved a major milestone in her career as she has been selected to join the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai. Standing 11th in the all-India merit list for girls, Ritika will undergo one year of military training at OTA and will be commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army.

Ritika’s journey towards this achievement started with her schooling at Springdale English Medium School, where she excelled in her SSC board exams with 93%. She continued her academic success by scoring 84.15% in her 12th HSC board exams at Apte Junior College. She further pursued a B.Sc. in Electronics from Fergusson College, where she achieved a CGPA of 9.06. Currently, Ritika is working towards her M.Sc. in Electronics from the same college.

Her passion for joining the Indian Army dates back to her childhood when she was inspired by the movie ‘Lakshya’ at the age of 8. With no family members having served in the military, Ritika was motivated to fulfill her dream of serving the country.

Ritika’s family has been a constant source of support for her, with her father being a businessman and her mother a housewife. Her elder sister is pursuing a PhD in Economics in Ireland, while her brother is a bronze medalist in the Asia Cup for Modern Pentathlon.

Apart from her academic achievements, Ritika is a black belt in karate, an avid half marathon runner, and a trekking enthusiast who has completed challenging treks like Everest Base Camp and Mount Patalsu. She is also a skilled Bharatanatyam dancer.

Speaking about her success, Ritika credited her family’s support and the guidance she received from Apex Careers for her achievement. She specifically mentioned the coaching she received for the CDS exam and SSB Interviews, which played a crucial role in her success.

Ritika’s story is a testament to hard work, dedication, and the unwavering support of loved ones in achieving one’s dreams. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors as she embarks on this new chapter in her life as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
