Hey there Pune peeps, here’s some news to brighten up your day! The Punit Balan Group (PBG) recently conducted a drive in the city to promote road safety and encourage two-wheeler riders to be safe on the roads. From August 21 to 24, the team distributed helmets and spread awareness about traffic rules.

With the support of Pune Police, Pune Traffic Police, and RTO Pune, PBG was able to distribute 1,000 helmets to riders in need. The drive was inaugurated by Addl CP Manoj Patil at Council Hall Chowk, with other officials like ACP Nikam, DCP Sandeep Singh Gill, Col Mahadev, and API Prasad Dongre in attendance.

The drive continued on the second day with DCP Himmat Jadhav leading the way at Shastri Chowk in Yerwada. Asst Motor Vehicle Inspector Sarla Suryavanshi, Sr PI Arvind Gokule, ACP Pranjali Sonawane, and Sr PI Ravindra Shelke were also present to support the cause.

On the third day, ACP Anuja Deshmane and PI Minal Supe Patil kicked off the drive at Bremen Chowk, with Asst Motor Vehicle Inspector Sarla Suryavanshi showing her support.

The drive wrapped up with a ceremony at Sarasbaug, where API Shobha Kshirsagar, Asst Motor Vehicle Inspector Sarla Suryavanshi, Financial Fitness Coach Sudhir Khot, Pune City Boxing Association Secretary Madan Wani, and Rotarian Sheetal Shah, Rotary District Governor, Pune, were all in attendance.

Volunteers from various organizations, including Viman Nagar Women’s Club, Rotary Club of Pune, Inner Wheel Club of Poona Downtown, and more, actively participated in the drive to make Pune a safer place for everyone. Keep up the good work, Pune!
