After multiple incidents of the dog going on a biting spree in the Bhagirathi Nala area, the Alandi Municipal Council is under fire for not taking action sooner. The dog managed to sink its teeth into 2 children, 11 women, and 31 men before it was finally captured by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Veterinary Department.

Alandi, a popular pilgrimage spot, is now grappling with the issue of stray rabid dogs roaming around unchecked. Residents are demanding that the Alandi Nagar Parishad step up and take preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future.
