The South Asia Walkathon hosted by Radisson Blu Hotel Pune Kharadi on June 22, 2024, was a successful event that brought together team members, their families, friends, and corporate partners for a good cause. This event, part of Radisson’s Community Month initiative, showcased the brand’s commitment to social responsibility through various activities.
Supported by partners such as Kuber Events, 91.1 FM Radio, and the Rotary Club Pune, the walkathon saw around 300 participants, including hotel team members, local social groups, and college students, take part in the five-kilometer walk. The event started with registration at 5:15 AM, followed by an energetic Zumba session and a flag-off by Chief Guest Sanjay Borde at 6:30 AM.
Participants were provided with refreshments along the route and enjoyed a cool-down session at the hotel after the walk. A felicitation ceremony honored sponsors, and lucky draws awarded prizes to participants. All registration fees collected were donated to the Radisson India Charitable Foundation.
