Maharashtra has turned into a circus, with no restrictions on the language spoken in politics. Raj Thackeray, president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, urged litterateurs to use their valuable words to pressure politicians and bring justice. The 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan logo was unveiled in Pune, featuring a Rajmudra and pen symbolizing Maharashtra’s identity. The event was organized by Sarhad, Pune at Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, with notable figures like Sanjay Nahar and Prof. Milind Joshi in attendance. Thackeray highlighted the need for litterateurs to speak boldly and create a social movement amidst the declining language of politics in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, known for its ideological openness, has been working to preserve and promote Marathi language for 119 years. Sanjay Nahar praised Raj Thackeray for his dedication to Marathi identity, emphasizing the importance of unity in the face of opposition. The event also included the felicitation of Prasad Gawli and former presidents of the Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. Dr. Vandana Chavan presided over the program, with Leshpal Jawalage delivering the vote of thanks.
