Are you ready for some political excitement in Pune? Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray is all set to visit Pune as part of his campaign for MNS candidates in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. Thackeray will be holding meetings in Pune on November 9 and 13 for candidates contesting from various constituencies.
On November 9, meetings are scheduled for MNS candidates from the Kasba and Kothrud assembly constituencies, while on November 13, campaign meetings will be held for the Khadakwasla and Hadapsar constituencies. The venues for these meetings have not been finalized yet, but party officials are working on it.
MNS has fielded candidates in four of the eight assembly constituencies within Pune city, out of the 21 constituencies in Pune district. Thackeray’s visit is expected to give a significant boost to the party’s campaign as he continues to rally support for his candidates in these key constituencies.
Thackeray made headlines when he announced that MNS would contest the assembly elections independently, without supporting any major political alliances. Despite previously supporting the Grand Alliance (Mahayuti) during the Lok Sabha elections, Thackeray clarified that MNS would go solo this time. The party has named its nominees for various constituencies, including Mayuresh Wanjale, Mayor Sainath Babar, former corporator Kishore Shinde, and Ganesh Bhokare.
Thackeray has been actively campaigning across Maharashtra, criticizing Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), BJP, and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) while calling for a change in leadership. His message has resonated with many voters, especially in Pune city, where MNS has a strong following, particularly among the youth.
With Thackeray’s past meetings in Pune drawing large crowds, political observers are eagerly waiting to hear his remarks during his upcoming visits. Stay tuned for more updates on Thackeray’s campaign and his strategy to shake up the political landscape in Pune!
