Guess who got caught with their hand in the cookie jar? None other than Vijay Singh Khima Singh Rajpurohit, a 37-year-old resident of Kharadi and native of Rajasthan. The Anti Narcotics Cell of the Pune City Police Commissionerate’s Crime Branch busted him for selling opium in the Kharadi area.

It all went down during a routine patrol in Kharadi when the cops received a tip-off about Rajpurohit’s shady dealings. They quickly set up a trap near a shop in the Sant Tukaram Nagar area and nabbed him red-handed. Upon searching him, they found a whopping 111 grams of opium worth Rs 2.22 lakh, along with a weighing scale and some other goodies in his bag.

Looks like Rajpurohit won’t be spreading his illegal merchandise in Pune anymore. Another victory for the Anti Narcotics Cell in their mission to clean up the streets!
