It’s a battle of the heavyweights in the Pune Cantonment Assembly segment as sitting BJP MLA Sunil Kamble takes on former State Minister and MVA candidate Ramesh Bagwe. The voting is set to take place on November 20, with just a week left for the campaign.
Both candidates are pulling out all the stops during their poll campaign. Bagwe recently held a padyatra in the constituency, covering a wide range of areas. From Sant Kabir Chowk to Rani Laxmibai Udyan, Bagwe’s padyatra saw a huge turnout of citizens, with women welcoming him with the traditional ‘Aukshan’.
Speaking about his campaign, Bagwe stated, “We are committed to fulfilling the hopes and expectations of residents in this area. We will address pending issues and ensure victory for the MVA alliance.”
With the election just around the corner, all eyes are on the Pune Cantonment Assembly segment as the competition heats up between Kamble and Bagwe.
