Hey there, Pune peeps! Big changes are happening in the police force, and it looks like our city is getting a new top cop. Ranjan Kumar Sharma has just been appointed as the Joint Commissioner of Police in Pune, taking charge and bringing his experience from the State Crime Investigation Department (CID) to the table.

But that’s not all – there have been a bunch of other high-profile transfers within the Maharashtra police as well. Amitabh Gupta is now the Additional Director General of Police for Mumbai’s Special Operations, while Sunil Ramanand has moved to the Planning and Coordination Department in Mumbai.

And let’s not forget Praveen Salunke, who is now the Additional Director General of Police in the Government Railway Police (GRP), and Suresh Kumar Mekhla, who has been posted as Additional Director General of Police in the Traffic Department. Deepak Pandey has also been reassigned to the Wireless Department, and Suhas Warke is now the Additional Director General of Police for the Prevention of Crime against Women & Children.

In other news, Ashwiti Dorje has been appointed as the Special Inspector General of Police in the Civil Rights Protection Department, while Chering Dorje is now overseeing the Law and Order Department. And last but not least, Dilip Bhujbal-Patil is the new Special Inspector General of Police for the Nagpur zone.
