Hey there, folks! It seems like the residents of Parge Nagar are fed up with the garbage dumping situation in their neighborhood. From Mayfair Eleganza to Welcome Hall, City Lawns, and Merryland School, the area has turned into an eyesore. Renita Iyer and Sahil Shaikh are not having it anymore.
Renita Iyer, a resident of Alcon Signare, mentioned that with no one taking responsibility for cleanliness and parking issues, they’ve decided to take matters into their own hands. Sahil Shaikh from Kumar Palmgrove agrees and wants the PMC to take strong action to clean up Parge Nagar.
The residents are demanding CCTV cameras, penalties for violators, and more monitoring of dumping spots. They want clean streets, proper footpaths, and signboards to encourage responsible garbage disposal. Juliana Vongeyer from Eisha Bella Vista is particularly frustrated with the state of the roads and wants Pune to be clean and green.
PMC has started sending dumpers to clear garbage, and the RTO has been called in to deal with abandoned vehicles. The residents are not backing down and are determined to keep pushing for cleaner, safer streets in Parge Nagar. Let’s hope the authorities listen and take action soon!
