Hey there folks! Today at the Sadhu Vaswani Mission in Camp, the atmosphere was filled with devotion and service as they celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti with a heartfelt program. The day kicked off with sevas and satsangs, and featured recorded discourses by Revered Dada J.P. Vaswani and Sadhu Vaswani, as well as a LIVE talk by Didi Krishna Kumari, the spiritual head of the mission.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the annual Modi Khana, where devotees purchased grains to be distributed to needy families. This year, they raised an impressive sum of Rs 2,18,100! The groceries given to each underprivileged family included a variety of items like sugar, chole, tur dal, and more, as well as clothing and hygiene products.

The day started with morning seva and continued with soulful bhajans and kirtans in the afternoon. Dada J.P. Vaswani shared some profound insights on Guru Nanak’s life and teachings, emphasizing humility and service. The Modi Khana saw devotees lining up to purchase items from Didi Krishna, who then placed them at the Lotus Feet of Dada J.P. Vaswani and Sadhu Vaswani for distribution.

Devotees from near and far expressed their emotional connection to the celebration, with one devotee from Mumbai saying, “I see Guru Nanak in Sadhu Vaswani, and it is his love that drew me here.” Another devotee from South America shared, “I feel I am in bliss; I am in heaven.”

After the Modi Khana, everyone enjoyed a traditional guru langar together. The evening ended with more bhajans and kirtans, lasting until midnight. It was truly a day filled with devotion, service, and heartfelt celebrations at the Sadhu Vaswani Mission.
