Kondhwa was shaken today as a sand trader fell victim to a brutal attack in broad daylight. Dilip Gaikwad, a well-known local supplier, was shot at by unknown assailants in the Salve Nagar area around 1 pm. The police suspect that the shooting may have been a result of an ongoing feud.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers arrived in a vehicle and fired two to three rounds at Gaikwad in front of Salve Garden. Fortunately, two individuals have been apprehended at the scene, but the search for the main culprits continues.
