Hey there, folks! It seems like the Indrayani River in Alandi is becoming a hotspot for some unfortunate incidents lately. Just four days ago, a woman police constable tragically died by suicide after jumping into the river. It took three whole days before her body was finally discovered yesterday morning.

And guess what? This morning, another woman decided to take the same drastic step and jumped into the Indrayani River as well. Senior Police Inspector Bhima Narke of the Alandi Police Station reported that the woman made the jump around 6 AM from the bridge near the PMPML bus stop.

As soon as the Alandi police got wind of the incident, they sprang into action, calling in the fire brigade and rescue teams to help with the search. The woman who jumped into the river hasn’t been identified yet, but the search for her is currently underway.

Just a couple of days ago, on 25th August, a woman police constable also jumped into the Indrayani River from a bridge in Alandi. After an exhaustive three-day search, her body was eventually found about ten kilometres away in Golegaon. But the saga doesn’t end there – the very next day, another woman took a plunge into the river, leaving authorities scrambling to find her.

Let’s hope that the search teams are able to locate this latest missing woman soon. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
