It seems like the MPSC students in Pune have found a strong ally in veteran leader Sharad Pawar. The students have been protesting for the past two days, demanding the inclusion of 258 posts from the Agriculture Department in the upcoming MPSC exam. Their protests have caught the attention of Sharad Pawar, who has given the Maharashtra State Government an ultimatum to meet their demands by today, or he will step in to advocate for the students himself.

The protest, which started on Tuesday, saw hundreds of students staging a sit-in on Lal Bahadur Shastri Road in Navi Peth. They are also calling for the postponement of the exam, as the IBPS exam is scheduled for the same day. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced a meeting to discuss the issue, but the MPSC has stated that no major decisions will be made in the meeting.

In the midst of all this, Sharad Pawar has taken to social media to express his support for the students. He has called on the government to consider the students’ interests and has threatened to join the protest himself if their demands are not met. His daughter, Supriya Sule, has also shown her support for the students and has promised to raise the issue with the Chief Minister.

Political leaders, including Prashant Jagtap, have also visited the protest site to show their solidarity with the students. It seems like the MPSC students have gained some powerful allies in their fight for justice.
