The new bus station will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a bus depot for parking and maintenance, ample parking spaces for commuters, and staff quarters for MSRTC employees. With a detailed project report currently in the works, a tender for construction will be issued soon, bringing this much-needed upgrade to fruition.
The temporary relocation of the bus depot to Wakdewadi along the Pune-Mumbai highway has caused some inconvenience, leading to increased traffic congestion in the area.
