According to Punit Balan, the Celebration Chief and Trustee of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati, devotees have been eagerly requesting for the Abhishek service to be initiated at the mandal. So, in response to popular demand, the Trust has decided to launch the service this year. How cool is that?
For all those who are keen to participate, registration for the Abhishek rituals has already started. All you need to do is make a voluntary donation and you’re good to go! No mandatory fees, just your choice of donation. Plus, you’ll need to bring along ‘Panchamrut’ and ‘Pedha Prasad’ to take part in the rituals.
The Abhishek rituals will take place from 6 am to 11 am throughout the 10-day Ganeshotsav celebration. Don’t forget to register in advance by dialling 9112221892 or visiting the website. And if you miss out on registration, no worries! You can still show up at the mandap and register on the spot for an available slot.
