Pune social media influencer ‘Mau’ found safe after going missing for days

In a shocking turn of events, popular social media influencer ‘Mau’ was found safe at a friend’s house in Warje Malwadi after being missing for several days. The 26-year-old, whose real name is Mayuri Chaitanya Modak-Pawar, had left behind a suicide note before disappearing on June 15, leaving her family and followers worried.

Mau, who rose to fame on TikTok and later moved to Instagram after the ban in India, is known for her fashion sense and entrepreneurial spirit. She also runs a successful clothing business and is a mother to a young daughter.

After her disappearance, the police launched a massive search operation, utilizing CCTV footage and tracking her phone to trace her location. Finally, she was found in Warje Malwadi and taken into custody for her safety.

It was revealed that Mau had been under immense stress due to fake photos and videos being circulated on a fake Instagram account. This added pressure is believed to have pushed her to leave without informing anyone.

Thanks to the efforts of the police, led by Sub-Inspector Santosh More and guidance from senior officers, Mau was safely reunited with her family after a counseling session at the police station. The incident serves as a reminder of the dark side of social media fame and the importance of mental health in the digital age.
