After a long wait, the registrar position at SPPU is finally going to be filled in July. The interviews for potential candidates will be held on July 11 and July 12, as announced by university officials.
Since November 16, 2023, Vijay Khare has been temporarily filling in as the registrar after Prafull Pawar’s term ended. However, due to election restrictions, the appointment process was delayed. Out of the 36 candidates in the running for the position, seven have been disqualified, according to the university’s list.
SPPU Vice-Chancellor Professor Suresh Gosavi also revealed plans to create a list of candidates for the director of New Initiatives and New Research Assistant Board position in July. This signals a larger restructuring and recruitment effort within the university.
