Pune, 4th February 2025: The wholesale fish market in Ganesh Peth, Pune, saw a decrease in fish supply from both India’s eastern and western coasts on Sunday. However, prices for most fish varieties remained stable compared to the previous week.

Pomfret, Indian Salmon (Rawas), Mackerel, Prawns, and Bombay Duck were in high demand, leading to an increase in prices for pomfret and rawas. Mackerel, prawns, and Bombay Duck prices remained steady, while other fish varieties maintained their prices from last week.

In the meat and poultry sector, mutton, chicken, English eggs, and country eggs prices remained unchanged due to a balance between supply and demand.
