Sunil Tingre, the Nationalist Congress Party candidate and current MLA for Vadgaonsheri, has promised to erect a grand statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in Vishrantwadi. During a recent padayatra, Tingre engaged with voters in various areas of Yerwada and received widespread support for his community initiatives and development projects in the region. He highlighted the importance of Vishrantwadi, known for hosting Pune’s largest procession celebrating Dr. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. In addition to the statue, Tingre discussed completed projects like meeting halls, public toilets, internal roads, sewage channel improvements, and a Buddhist Vihar in the area. He also addressed the issue of flooding in Shantinagar and assured voters of a permanent solution. Tingre was accompanied by local leaders and former corporators during his campaign walk, receiving support from the Mahayuti alliance.
