The 5th consecutive year of the successful blood donation camp organized by the Surendra Pathare Foundation on Republic Day has been a resounding success. The mega blood donation camp, held at the Pathare Indoor Stadium, saw a total of 3,465 blood bags collected this year. This marks a significant increase from the previous years, with 1,644 blood bags collected in 2021, 3,453 in 2022, 3,593 in 2023, and 3,671 in 2024.
Foundation President Surendra Pathare expressed his gratitude to the blood donors, health workers, volunteers, and participating doctors for their valuable contribution to the camp. He emphasized that the overwhelming response from citizens each year is what drives the success of the programme. The Foundation’s consistent effort to address blood shortages in health services has been greatly supported by the community.
Senior Wrestling Organiser and Shiv Chhatrapati State Sports Award recipient, Pandharinath (Annasaheb) Pathare, extended his special good wishes to the initiative. Dignitaries from various fields also visited the camp and commended the Foundation for its impactful work in helping those in need.
