Hey there, folks! Today, we’ve got some shocking news coming out of Manjari. A 14-year-old boy at a local school took a disagreement over the annual function planning to a whole new level when he attacked his classmate with a piece of glass, slashing his neck in the process. Yikes!
The victim, a 15-year-old student, is currently recovering in a private hospital after sustaining serious injuries from the attack. The young man wasted no time and filed a formal complaint with the Hadapsar police station.
Apparently, the two boys, who are classmates in Class IX, had been butting heads over the school’s annual function arrangements. Things took a dark turn on Tuesday when the accused decided to take matters into his own hands and attacked the victim from behind during class with a shard of glass. Talk about intense!
The attack left the classroom in chaos, with other students understandably panicking. Thankfully, school staff and teachers were quick to step in and get the injured boy the medical attention he needed.
The accused is now in custody, and the police have registered a case of attempted murder against him. Senior Police Inspector Santosh Pandhare and Assistant Inspector Dadasaheb Rokde are on the case, working to get to the bottom of this disturbing incident.
