Hey Pune peeps, have you heard about the recent burglary at fashion designer Nivedita Saboo’s showroom in Kalyaninagar? Well, the Pune Police’s Crime Branch Unit 4 has cracked the case and nabbed three individuals from Ranjangaon for their involvement in the crime.

The suspects, identified as Vivek alias Gurudev Maniram Rajput, Abhishek Singh alias Pradip Pappusing, and Amit Singh Vijay Singh, were arrested on August 7 for breaking into Saboo’s showroom and making away with cash and merchandise worth Rs 2 lakhs.

The police team, under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Ajay Waghmare and led by Police Sub-Inspector Vaibhav Magadum, conducted a thorough investigation using technical methods to track down the suspects to Ranjangaon. They set up a trap in the Sankalp City area and successfully apprehended the culprits.

During the arrest, the police recovered stolen material worth Rs 25,000, along with cash, stolen shirts, and two-wheelers valued at Rs 1,16,000 from the accused. The operation was supervised by Crime Branch DCP Nikhil Pingle, ACP Satish Govekar, and other key officials, including Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Shelke and Sub-Inspectors Jaideep Patil, Vaibhav Magdum, and Swapneel Patil.

The suspects, who were in Ranjangaon for work, reportedly noticed the lights on in the showroom during a visit to Kalyaninagar and took advantage of the situation to commit the burglary.
