Hey folks, if you’re a regular commuter on the Pune-Miraj Railway Line, you might want to pay attention to some important updates regarding traffic changes in Ghorpadi. The ongoing work on the Railway Flyover under the Wanowrie Traffic Branch has led to the implementation of new traffic rules to ensure everyone’s safety and smooth traffic flow.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. If you’re traveling from National War Memorial Southern Command to Mundhwa via Ghorpadi Railway Gate, you’ll need to take a different route. Instead of your usual path, make sure to use the route from Kendriya Vidyalaya Junction to Ghorpadi Police Chowky.

2. Only four-wheelers, three-wheelers, and two-wheelers will be allowed to travel from the Mundhwa and Ghorpadi Railway Bridge (Solapur Railway Line) to the National War Memorial Southern Command. Unfortunately, other vehicles, including PMPML buses, are not permitted on this route.

For those who are not allowed on the regular route from Mundhwa, there’s an alternate route you can take. Simply proceed straight from Ghorpadi Railway Flyover (Solapur Railway Line) to BT Kawade Road, then head towards Sopan Baug Society, and finally make your way to Solapur Road to reach your destination.

And hey, if you have any objections or suggestions about these traffic changes, feel free to submit them in writing to DCP Traffic Amol Zende’s Office at the Traffic Control Branch, Yerawada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Jail Road, Pune. You have until the 25th of September to share your feedback.

Stay safe on the roads, everyone!
