Hey there, folks! If you’re planning to hit the Pune-Solapur Road this Friday, December 6, you might want to reconsider your route. Why, you ask? Well, the traffic is getting diverted starting at 8 PM due to some water pipeline work near the MP Petrol Pump between Mammadevi Chowk and the Arjun Road T-junction.

Here’s the lowdown on what’s happening: The pipeline work will be done in two phases, involving digging up both sides of the Pune-Solapur route. To keep things moving smoothly, the traffic branch of the police has come up with some alternative routes.

So, what’s the game plan? Here’s a quick rundown:

– If you’re heading from Solapur to Swargate, just keep going straight to Swargate via Arjun Road and Mammadevi Chowk. No changes there.
– But if you’re going from Swargate to Solapur, you’ll have to take a detour. No more straight shots to Mammadevi Chowk. Instead, turn left, go to Bishop Circle, and then make a right to get back on Solapur Road. These routes are now one-way only.
– And for those coming from Solapur, forget about turning right at Mammadevi Chowk. Keep going straight to Golibar Maidan Chowk, then turn right to head towards Camp.
– If you usually take Dr. Koyaji Road, you’ll need to turn right at Harpreet Mandir Chowk, go through Khane Maruti Chowk and Pulgate Bus Station, and then head to Kondhwa.

The Pune traffic police are urging everyone to follow the new routes and be patient during the construction. They expect the traffic diversions to be in place until the pipeline work is done.

So, there you have it, folks! Stay informed, follow the signs, and hopefully, we’ll all get through this traffic mess without too much hassle. Drive safe out there!
