Hey Pune peeps, get ready for some major traffic changes coming your way this weekend! The Shivajinagar Court to Swargate underground metro line is all set to be inaugurated on Sunday, September 29th, and it’s going to be a star-studded event with lots of big shots in attendance.

To make way for the ceremony at Shree Ganesh Kala Krida Rangmanch, traffic adjustments will kick in bright and early at 7 AM. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Amol Zende is urging everyone to find alternate routes to avoid getting stuck in the chaos.

Starting from Keshavrao Jedhe Chowk in Swargate, vehicles will be banned from the area around the Jamnalal Bajaj statue in Saras Bagh. But don’t worry, there will be dual traffic flow between Jedhe Chowk and the statue to keep things moving smoothly. And if you need to get to Solapur Road from the flyover on Satara Road, you should be in luck.

Over in the Shivajinagar Court area, similar traffic restrictions will be in place. No vehicles will be allowed on the road from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Putla Chowk to Kamgar Putla Chowk, all the way up to Tofkhana Chowk. But hey, if needed, they might open up a dual lane from Putla Chowk to Kamgar Putla Chowk.

So, plan your routes wisely and avoid any unnecessary delays. Let’s keep the traffic flowing smoothly during this exciting inauguration ceremony!
