Hey there, Pune peeps! Get ready for the Somavati Yatra of Shri Khandoba Dev happening at the temple town of Jejuri on December 30. But hold up, there’s some important info you need to know about traffic diversions to avoid chaos and keep things running smoothly.
In-charge District Collector and ZP CEO Santosh Patil has issued directives for heavy vehicles, which will have no entry to Jejuri from 5 am to 12 midnight on December 30. Instead, they will be diverted from alternative routes to ease the flow of traffic.
Here’s the lowdown on the traffic diversions within Jejuri Police Station and Pune Rural limits: Traffic coming from Satara, Phaltan, Lonand, and Baramati headed towards Jejuri-Saswad will be redirected from Nira-Morgaon-Supa to Kedgaon-Choufula via Solapur Highway to Pune. And for those traveling from Pune to Baramati, the diversion will be from Belsar-Kothale-Nazre-Supa-Morgaon Road via Baramati or Phaltan.
Moving on to the traffic diversions within the Supa Police Station and Pune Rural limits: Traffic from Baramati and Nira heading towards Jejuri to Pune will be rerouted from Morgaon-Supa-Kedgaon-Choufula via Solapur Highway to Pune.
And last but not least, traffic diversions within the Saswad Police Station and Pune Rural limits: Traffic from Pune towards Jejuri to Phaltan-Satara will be redirected from Saswad-Narayanpur-Kapurhol to Satara-Phaltan or Saswad-Veer Phata-Parinche-Veer-Wathar via Lonand to Phaltan-Satara.
Remember, there will be some relaxation for light vehicles visiting Jejuri for the Yatra on December 30. So, please take note of the traffic diversions and do your part to help things run smoothly. Let’s make this Yatra a safe and enjoyable experience for all!
