Hey there, Pune cricket fans! With the T20 match between India and England just around the corner, it’s time to start planning your travel to the stadium. The Pune City Police have made some traffic arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles on the big day.
If you’re heading to the stadium in your own car, make sure to check out the video below for all the details on the designated routes. The City Police are urging everyone to cooperate with the traffic arrangements to avoid any delays.
For those with VVIP, VIP, or emergency service passes, you’ll have access from the service road of the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. Coming from Mumbai? Take the Dehu Road exit. If you’re coming from Pune, use the Pune-Bangalore highway, Kiwale bridge, and the left-side service road of the expressway.
If you’re driving in from the Old Pune-Mumbai highway, you’ll need to take U-turns at Central Chowk and Mukai Chowk to reach the stadium parking. Remember, entry to the Mamurdi underpass via Somatne Phata is off-limits.
Heads up for heavy vehicle drivers! There’s a ban on key routes between 3 PM and midnight, including the Mamurdi-Kanetkar Bungalow stretch and the road to Gahunje. Plus, avoid using the internal roads of Mamurdi village and stick to single-lane driving on narrow approach roads.
So, buckle up, follow the rules, and get ready for an exciting T20 match in Pune! Let’s make sure the traffic situation is as smooth as the game itself. #PuneTraffic #T20IndiaEngland #CricketFever 馃殫馃弿
