Tragedy struck at Bhushi Dam in Lonavala today as a family from Hadapsar was swept away by strong currents. The family, including children, was enjoying a vacation when they were caught off guard by the sudden surge of water. With the heavy rainfall causing the dam to overflow, tourists have been flocking to the area.
Sadly, the bodies of a woman and two young girls have been recovered, but a 4-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy are still missing. Rescue operations are currently underway as authorities work to locate the missing children. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
