Hey guys, it’s a sad day in Khadakwasla as an 18-year-old boy tragically drowned while swimming in the canal. Gaurav Roshan Singh, a student at Sinhgad College, was enjoying a day out with his family and friends when the incident occurred.
Despite not being able to swim, Gaurav decided to take a dip in the water while his relatives were swimming nearby. Unfortunately, he was swept away by the strong current and disappeared before anyone could react. His friends and family tried to save him, but it was too late.
The Nanded City Police and PMRDA’s fire brigade were quick to respond and launched a search operation. With the summer water release at full capacity, the search for Gaurav remains challenging due to the strong current in the canal.
Our thoughts are with Gaurav’s family and friends during this difficult time. Let’s all remember to stay safe around water and never underestimate its power.
