On Saturday, November 2, tragedy struck near the Kadve village as a man named Uttam Ravji Padwal lost his life in a drowning incident at Panshet Dam. The 38-year-old resident of Kadve reportedly slipped and fell into the backwaters, leading to his untimely demise. While the exact cause of death is still being investigated, it’s a heartbreaking situation for his loved ones.
Thankfully, a quick-thinking rescue team sprang into action upon receiving word of the incident. Tanaji Bhosale, Ganesh Sapkal, Vaibhav Bhosale, Sanjay Chorghe Patil, Sandeep Solaskar, Akash Solaskar, Manoj Shinde, Prateek Mahamuni, Suraj Kawde, and Sagar Bawle rushed to the scene and successfully retrieved Uttam’s body from the water. The authorities took over from there, with the deceased being transferred to Velhe Rural Hospital for further examination.
