Hey there, folks! Here’s some news coming in from Kondhwa that might make you raise an eyebrow or two. A bus driver from Sinhagad City School met with a tragic accident on the school premises that led to his untimely demise.
The victim, Santosh Pandurang Malvadkar, was just 47 years old and lived nearby in Pisoli Gram Panchayat. It seems that while he was cleaning a school bus by spraying water, he accidentally touched a live wire connected to the bus compressor and got electrocuted. Talk about a shocking turn of events!
Now, the Kondhwa police have taken action by filing a case against the school’s director, Dhananjay Tukaram Mahadik, traffic supervisor Daulat Dattatray Dhok, and another staff member named Vijay Sampat Kumbhar. The deceased driver’s wife, Sunita, was the one who lodged the complaint, pointing fingers at the school’s negligence for her husband’s tragic death.
Initially, the incident was brushed off as an accidental death, but now it’s being looked at more closely as a case of negligence. It seems like the poor maintenance of the bus and the school administration’s lack of oversight are being blamed for this unfortunate accident.
Assistant Police Inspector Rajesh Usgaonkar is on the case and has identified faulty wiring in the bus compressor as the main culprit behind the electrocution. The roles of the accused in this maintenance oversight are now being scrutinized, so we’ll have to wait and see how this all pans out.
Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story, and remember, safety first, folks!
