Hey there, Pune folks! It’s sad news to report that a young man lost his life in a tragic accident involving a Royal Enfield Bullet on Council Hall Road. The incident, which took place in the early hours of October 27, also left his friend seriously injured.
The victim, identified as Arpit Sharma, was just 22 years old and hailed from Koregaon Park. His friend, Rohit Sharma, was also involved in the accident and is currently receiving treatment for his injuries. According to police reports, these types of accidents are often caused by speeding.
The two friends were riding the Royal Enfield Bullet when the driver lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision with a parked vehicle. Both Arpit and Rohit sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital. Tragically, Arpit passed away while undergoing treatment.
Assistant Police Inspector Mujawar is now investigating the case, and a complaint has been filed at Bund Garden Police Station by Police Constable Dattatraya Sool.
