Late on Monday night, two minors lost their lives in a collision involving a stationary tempo. The victims, Ajay Akhade and Darshan Vetal, both 16 years old, were traveling with four other youths on two motorcycles after a trip to Sajgaon Yatra near Matheran.
As they were crossing the bridge near the Dargah in Hal village, tragedy struck when one of the motorcycles crashed into the parked tempo. Ajay and Darshan were rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive their injuries. Prathamesh Sonwane, 17, is currently in critical condition at MGM Kamothe Hospital.
