Tragedy struck in Lohegaon as a two-wheeler rider lost his life in a collision with an animal ambulance. The ambulance driver, who was found to be drunk at the time of the accident, was promptly arrested by Airport Police.

The victim, identified as Surendra Singh Shailendra Singh Kumpawat, was a 48-year-old resident of Chandan Nagar. The driver of the ambulance, Sanjay Channappa Mulloli, 26 years old from Wadebolai, Nagar Road, was taken into custody following the incident.

According to reports, Surendra Singh was crossing Forest Park Road on his two-wheeler on Saturday evening when the ambulance struck him. Despite efforts to save him, he tragically passed away from his injuries.

The victim’s younger brother, Mahendra Singh, took action by filing a complaint at the Airport Police Station. Police Inspector Sarjerao Kumbhar and Sub-Inspector Bhosale are working on the case to bring justice for Surendra Singh and his family.
