The tragic incident that took place at a construction site in Yewalewadi has left the community in shock. A 19-year-old labourer, Sunny Daktar Soni, lost his life after falling from the seventh floor into a lift duct. The incident happened on 24th November around 7 PM, and despite efforts to save him, Sunny succumbed to his injuries.
Sunny, a resident of Yewalewadi, was working at the Pyramid Construction Site where his family also resides in the labour colony. His father, Daktar Soni, has filed a complaint with the Kondhwa police station, leading to a case being registered against the individual responsible for negligence in worker safety.
The police are conducting an investigation into the matter, with Assistant Police Inspector Rakesh Jadhav taking the lead. The loss of Sunny has highlighted the importance of ensuring safety measures are strictly followed at construction sites to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.
