Tanisha Shantaram Manore was found dead by suicide after a party at her home, while her friend was found unconscious due to excessive alcohol consumption. The friend is currently being treated at Sassoon General Hospital.
Tanisha, who lived in the Laxmi Nagar area of Yerawada, was a student in the 11th standard. Her mother, who sold vegetables, was devastated by the news. The party took a dark turn when Tanisha’s friend invited a boy over, and he discovered Tanisha hanging in her home. Despite efforts to revive her, Tanisha was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The police arrived at the scene to investigate and found evidence of a drunken party. Both girls had vomited after drinking alcohol, leading to questions about the events that led to Tanisha’s suicide. The exact reasons behind her actions remain unknown, and the investigation is ongoing under the supervision of Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Kumar Shelke. It’s a heartbreaking situation that has left the community in shock and mourning for the young life lost.
