The incident that unfolded on the Pune-Ahmednagar Road has left many shocked and saddened. The victim, identified as Parmeshwar Balaji Devraye, lost his life in the tragic altercation with the accused, Ram Datta Puri. Another truck driver, Ramchandra Pole, who was present during the argument, has come forward and filed a police complaint regarding the incident.
The argument between Puri and Devraye reportedly started over a dinner bill at a restaurant near the Wagholi warehouse. The verbal dispute turned physical when Devraye slapped Puri, leading to the fatal collision in the parking area.
Thanks to a vigilant security guard at the warehouse, Puri was tracked down and apprehended by the owner after trying to flee towards Ahmednagar. Puri now faces charges of culpable homicide as the police continue their investigation to uncover the full details of the tragic event.
