Hey there, folks! Exciting news coming in from Junnar Taluka in Pune District. Two leopards have been captured after causing quite a stir in the local community.

It seems like these big cats had a taste for adventure as they were spotted roaming around farms in Pimpalwadi and Pimpri Pendhar. Now, Junnar Taluka is no stranger to leopard sightings, with these majestic creatures often venturing into human settlements from the nearby forests.

One leopard in Pimpalwadi even decided to get up close and personal near a Pune Zilla Parishad primary school, sending locals into a frenzy. But fear not, the Maharashtra Forest Department sprang into action and managed to capture the leopard with a cleverly placed cage and some tasty bait.

Over in Pimpri Pendhar, another leopard found itself in a bit of a pickle after falling into a well. Thanks to the quick thinking of the locals, the leopard was rescued, but not before another one was spotted gallivanting around the area. This second leopard was also safely captured using the same cage and bait technique.

Both leopards are now receiving top-notch care and attention at the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre. Here’s to hoping they stay out of trouble and stick to the wild where they belong! Stay tuned for more updates on this wild tale.
