In a major breakthrough in the murder case of former NCP corporator Vanraj Andekar, the Crime Branch has arrested two more individuals. With a total of 21 people now detained in connection with the case, authorities have seized a significant amount of weapons and vehicles from the accused.

Among those already arrested are key facilitators such as Somnath Gaikwad, Shubham Dahibate, and Andekar’s own family members, including his sister Sanjivani Komkar, her husband Prakash, and her brother-in-law Ganesh. Additionally, Sangam Waghmare, who supplied the weapons used in the crime, has also been apprehended.

The latest arrests of Sagar Pawar and Sahil Dalvi, who had been on the run, were made by the Unit One Crime Branch and the AEC late at night. This development marks a significant step forward in the investigation into Andekar’s tragic murder.
