Abhay Waghmare and Zakaria Shaikh were hoisting flags when tragedy struck – they accidentally came into contact with a high-voltage electric wire and were electrocuted.
Now, the Chandan Nagar Police are taking action against the chairman of the Meme Boys Friend Circle, Hussain Kadar Shaikh, along with three others – Vikas Kamble, Akshay Lawand, and Santosh Date. These guys were responsible for organizing the procession, and it seems they didn’t follow all the necessary safety guidelines.
According to reports, the incident happened at Wadgaon Sheri Bhaji Mandai during the Eid-e-Milad celebrations yesterday. The police found that the platform created for hoisting flags was too high, which led to the fatal accident. It’s truly a heartbreaking situation for the families and friends of Abhay and Zakaria.
