In a shocking turn of events, 58-year-old Satish Satba Wagh, who happens to be the maternal uncle of MLC Yogesh Tilekar, was abducted on Monday morning in Pune. The incident took place at Fursungi Phata in the Hadapsar area while Wagh was out for his regular morning walk around 6:30 am.
According to reports, Wagh was ambushed by a group of four to five men in a car who threatened him before taking him forcefully and driving towards Saswad Road. A vigilant passerby witnessed the abduction and promptly reported it to the authorities, leading to a complaint being lodged at Hadapsar Police Station.
The police are currently delving into the possible motives behind the kidnapping, including financial disputes or personal vendettas.
