Vadgaon Maval Court Sentences Accused to Three Years of Hard Labour and Rs 20 Thousand Fine for Molesting Girl with Help of Pune Police

1. Pune Sessions Court Judge, J.L. Gandhi, sentenced a man to three years of hard labor and a fine of Rs 20,000 for allegedly molesting a girl in Vadgaon Maval.
2. The accused, identified as Dileep Babanrao Ghodekar, was found guilty of misbehaving with a girl who was returning home after buying milk.
3. Additional Public Prosecutor Smita Chaugule represented the government in court and presented evidence that led to Ghodekar’s conviction.
4. The court ordered Ghodekar to pay Rs 15,000 to the victim as part of the fine amount.
5. The investigation into the case was carried out by S. S. Gadilkar under the guidance of Assistant Police Commissioner Devidas Gheware and Senior Police Inspector Digambar Suryawanshi.
6. Court police constable Nitin Pawar assisted in the court proceedings, ensuring a fair trial for the victim and justice for the crime committed.
