The streets of Hadapsar were thrown into chaos when a daring theft took place in broad daylight. A young man was targeted by two thieves on a bike who attempted to snatch his mobile phone. The brave youth put up a fight, but unfortunately, the thieves managed to overpower him. As if that wasn’t enough, one of the thieves even bit the young man’s hand during the struggle.
The incident took place on Friday evening when the victim was returning home from Bhagirathi Nagar. The thieves on the bike tried to make a quick getaway with the mobile phone, dragging the youth along for a few hundred meters. In the scuffle, the victim sustained injuries to his hand and knee.
The young man wasted no time and reported the incident to the Hadapsar police station. The authorities, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwini Rakh and Senior Police Inspector Santosh Pandhare, promptly arrived at the scene to investigate. Police Sub-Inspector Arjun Kudale has been assigned to handle the case and bring the culprits to justice.
