So, guess what happened in Wagholi recently? The police just busted a gang of thieves who were stealing copper wires from a vehicle! Can you believe it? Four guys were caught red-handed, and they had goods worth a whopping ₹13 lakh in their possession. Talk about a big haul!
The suspects have been identified as Abdul Rahman from Hadapsar, Anil Gupta from Vishrantwadi, and Shivam Kashyap and Vishal Kashyap, both from Vishrantwadi but originally from Uttar Pradesh. These guys thought they could get away with stealing copper wires valued at ₹17 lakh from a vehicle owned by Agrico Energy Rental India Pvt Ltd. But little did they know, the police were hot on their trail.
Thanks to some solid police work, the stolen vehicle was recovered, and the driver was nabbed. After some intense questioning, the driver spilled the beans about his accomplices, leading to their arrest. Turns out, he was also involved in thefts at two other locations. What a tangled web they wove!
Shoutout to Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad and Assistant Police Inspector Shirish Bhalerao for leading the charge on this operation. And let’s not forget officers Prashant Karnawar, Deepak Kokere, Pritam Wagh, and Vishal Gaikwad for their hard work in cracking this case. It just goes to show that crime doesn’t pay, especially in Wagholi!
