Hey Pune folks, heads up! The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has some news for you. Brace yourselves for a water supply cut on Thursday, December 12, in various parts of the city. Why, you ask? Well, it’s all due to some construction and electrical maintenance work happening at the Parvati Water Treatment Plants (both new and old), Bhama Askhed, Warje, SNDT, and a few other facilities. Don’t panic though, water supply is expected to be back on track by late Friday, December 13, although at a lower pressure than usual.

So, which areas are going to be affected by this water cut? Buckle up, here’s the list:
– Parvati MLR Tank Area: If you live in Guruwar Peth, Budhwar Peth, or any of the nearby areas, you might want to stock up on water.
– Parvati HLR Tank Area: Residents of Sahakarnagar, Padmavati, and surrounding localities, you’re in the same boat.
– Parvati LLR Tank Area: Dattawadi, Shivajinagar, and other neighborhoods, you’re on the list too.
– SNDT MLR Tank Area: If you call Gokhalenagar, Kothrud, or Baner home, be prepared.
– Warje Water Centre Chandni Chowk Tank Area: Bavdhan, Sus Road, and the adjacent regions, you’re not spared either.
– Gandhi Bhavan Tank Area: Kothrud, Karvenagar, and more, you’re in for a dry spell.
– Pancard Club GSR Tank Area: Baner, Balewadi, and Pallod Farm areas, you’re included too.
– Vadgaon Water Center Area: Katraj, Dhankawadi, and surrounding locations, you’re on the list.
– Cantonment Water Center Area: From Hadapsar to Koregaon Park, prepare for the water supply interruption.
– Bhama Askhed: Lohegaon, Yerawada, and other areas, you’re not off the hook either.

The PMC suggests stocking up on water ahead of time and using it wisely during this period. They promise to work on restoring the water supply as quickly as possible. Stay hydrated, Pune!
