5. Despite this year’s satisfactory rainfall and full dams, the PMC’s Water Supply Department cites technical issues in certain areas as the reason for continued tanker supply.
6. Social worker Narendra Mate has urged the PMC Commissioner to provide water twice daily to Pune City, given the ample water in the Khadakwasla Dam.
7. Mate’s request emphasizes that some housing societies still require tankers during the monsoon season, despite the heavy rain and water discharge into the Mutha river basin.
