Hey there, folks! It’s Mubarak and Tikam here with some hot-off-the-press news from Yerwada. You won’t believe what’s been going down with the local police officers.
So, it turns out that Police Inspector Rahul Jagdale and Assistant Police Inspector Vishwanath Todkari have been suspended for not doing their jobs properly in the Porsche accident case. Apparently, after the accident happened, these two officers were on the scene in Kalyani Nagar but didn’t bother to let the police control room know about it. Talk about dropping the ball, right?
Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar was not impressed, to say the least. He mentioned that if the inspectors had just made a simple call to the control room, the DCP on night duty could have been alerted. But nope, they missed that memo.
The whole incident went down in the wee hours of May 19 when a Porsche driven by a 17-year-old crashed into a bike, killing two IT professionals. The accident happened near Landmark Garden society on Kalyani Nagar – Airport road. To make matters worse, initially, the FIR was only for causing death due to negligence, but later they upped the charges to culpable homicide. Yikes.
To add fuel to the fire, some officers at the police station tried to cover for the rich kid driving the Porsche by saying it was actually the driver of a local builder. But witnesses and friends of the victims weren’t having it and forced the cops to set the record straight.
Well, that’s all we’ve got for now, folks. Stay tuned for more updates on this juicy story. Until next time!
